Toshiba Satellite Intel Core2 Duo P200-155 Review

Equipped with a very powerful Intel Core2 Duo processor, the Toshiba Satellite P200 -155 (T5300 1.73GHz) will more than suffice in your mobile computing needs. Unfortunately, the Core2 Duo T5300 is only 1.73GHz, and will probably not be able to handle the new and upcoming processor intensive 2GHz first-person shooter games. Nonetheless, the P200 Satellite looks absolutely stunning, and sports a 17 inch WXGA TFT widescreen display, that is bright and vibrant thanks to TruBrite technology.

Multi-tasking is trouble-free on this notebook, as it comes stock with 2GB of DDR2 ram (expandable to 4GB), and a fast 2MB L2 cache. The P200 is preloaded with the new Windows Vista Home Premium operating system, which will nicely compliment the display. Also preloaded is Norton Internet Security 2007 (90 day trial), and Microsoft Office 2007 (60 day trial) to get you started.

Like to watch movies and videos on the go? Not a problem with this notebook. It is completely geared up and ready for those long trips with a Super-Multi Double Layer DVD optical drive, and a built-in 256MB mobile graphics card. Be ready to be blown away by the rich quality you are about to witness! Coupled with Windows Vista, the P200-155 is prepared to deliver an incredible online and video experience with its Windows Media Center.

The heavy duty 160GB hard drive is more than enough to handle all your needs, from school projects to work, from documents to spreadsheets, to music, images, and of course, video! The Toshiba Satellite P200-155 is also great for school or work presentations, and home entertainment, with both RGB and S-Video out capabilities (cables not included). Don’t be fooled by the one card reader – it’s a five-in-one media card adapter, giving you quick and easy access to files stored on different digital medium types.

Overall, I would give the P200-155 an 8/10.
